Not less than 1,000 residents of Iree Community and its environ benefitted from the food items distributed by BANIK Community Development Foundation (BCDF) on Thursday March, 2025.
The distribution of the items was performed shortly after the 2025 edition of the annual Ramadan Lecture series organised by the foundation.
The items distributed include rice, beans, semovita, noddles and spaghetti among other.
Prince Adeleke, while speaking to journalists at the event said the gesture was one of the focus areas of the foundation aiming at alleviating the sufferings of the people.
He added that the foundation is also giving scholarship to students, assisting residents with health challenges, particularly the poor ones in the society.
